Granny

Granny really has green fingers. She loves plants and gardening. Even at night she likes to be out in her garden, with her torch, catching snails. Alexander and Baby T think that Granny’s cookies are the best in the whole wide world – especially when enjoying them with a glass of milk in Granny’s garden.

The Tinster

The Tinster is a West Highland terrier. She likes to explore the neighbour’s garden and to bark for hours at absolutely nothing. The Tinster also loves following Alexander around when he is looking for clues.

Baby T

Baby T adores her toy rabbit, called Boo. She likes pasting stickers on The Tinster’s back and eating Daddy’s freshly baked rye bread with butter.

Daddy

Bathing is Daddy’s most favourite thing to do. He loves lying in the bathtub for a very long time, catching up on all the week’s newspapers. On Saturdays, Daddy likes going to bathroom shops, to try out new baths and on Sundays, he wakes up early to bake rye bread with Alexander.

Mummy

Most of all Mummy loves to be in a forest or simply to look out of the window at clouds and trees. She adores drinking a cup of milky tea while The Tinster lies under her chair. When they are sleeping, Mummy loves to whisper exactly three times in Alexander, Baby T and The Tinster’s ears, that she loves them.

Alexander

Alexander is a very inquisitive boy, who likes to know the answers to all the important questions in the world. On Saturdays, he loves to visit the Natural History Museum and to hurry back home to explore the garden for dinosaur bones. He loves to build things, to jump on Mummy and Daddy’s bed and to bake rye bread with Daddy on Sundays.
